Four Villas development was built in a very typical Bonairian style construction which its specifically constructed to only have hot water in the showers. This is due to the fact that the water in Bonaire is generally warm and this is a sustainable way to preserve energy and efficiency and water it’s not necessarily to be heated in the kitchen and bathroom sinks, therefore hot water is only available in the showers, excluding the studio pool house shower at Villa #1. Most of the typical Bonarian homes are built this way on purpose. Bonaire is known for being a very green and sustainable island and every little way to preserve is a step towards a more green living and brighter future for the beautiful island of Bonaire!

This house was beautifully decorated and perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully equiped and had everything we needed to make all of our meals. The pans, cookware, utensils, etc. were plentiful. We found the kitchen to be one of the better kitchens we've encountered through AirBnB. The living room had AC which was awesome for our family while we relaxed on the comfy furniture to watch a movie. The master bedroom has an en suite and lots of closet space. The second bedroom has ample closet space and access to the hallway bathroom. The outdoor space is magical! We loved the pool and it was big enough for all 3 of us to have floaties. They kept the pool and space cleaned which was appreciated. We used the grill several times, it appeared new and worked grreay. The dive tank was up front which is convenient for when you return home and we hung our dive gear out back. The location is centrally located and convenient to the store and dive sites. The hosts went up and beyond!
Perfect villa for a dive vacation! Very modern and functional for divers.
I booked this stay only one day in advance and was already en route on a connecting flight when flights were cancelled due to airspace restrictions. Because Bonaire has extremely limited flight service, there were no flights available within the reservation period, yet I was charged for the full eight-day stay. Despite Airbnb supervisors reaching out multiple times, overca week the host and local manager still expected I would simply “find new flights,” which was not realistic. Extreme lack of empathy. There was no acknowledgement that the booking was completely unusable or any meaningful flexibility shown..i had to pay the full value for a trip i could not even make the island for. i would avoid this host entirely based on the behaviour in such a difficult period for me and my family. Profiting on others misfortune.
